Hi all,

Long story short, I think I fixed my boost leak, and I made some new logs.

Revo STG2 B9T7 - Should I advance the timing further?? Ambient temp was like 12 celcius.

Logs made from 4.th gear... shhh...

The absence of any timing pull (cf's) would indicate yes but the high exhaust gas temperature concerns me. 930 degrees egt is knocking on the door of ecu protection mode by reducing injector duty cycle to cool things down.
Have you considered AEM water injection.

Actually the EGT had my attention, but water injection isnt a subject, as I'm trying to keep the car MOT friendly... LOL

I could lower boost to 8 and raise timing to 8, but I think the timing is fairly high at the moment.

Odd thing is, it wont log over 210 g/s(My logs typically stops at 6500 rpm) over MAF and req/actual boost dont meet perfectly. To think point I have been over all silicone joins etc. -Last think could be knackered turbo housing(hot side) or the exhust manifold.

Hmm... I dont know who the owner of this technical insight document for the Leon Cupra R is, but it states 950 c.

Quote:
The maximum allowable temperature for these components is 950 °C. When this value is
exceeded, the control unit intervenes and reduces the injection time until the temperature drops.

http://lee69.co.uk/Car stuff/CupraR.pdf

But if its really 920, I might lower the boost to 7 or 8.)

I might lower the timing instead of the boost, as i have the forge big race intercooler.

Bill, do you have any suggestions as revo dealer? My mods are listing in my signature.

The blueflame are a complete system from turbo and backwards.
