LCR Spark Plugs???

I know im not wrong in sayin 7 is the cooler plug, this is the correct plug to run in a mapped lcr.

Agreed, 7 is definitely the cooler plug (in NGK anyway). Just wanted to get it clear that 6 is standard and 7 is the cooler option.
Wouldn't recommend 8 though, they're a bit too much in the LCR and can cause problems with day to day driving.

yeh i think 6 is standard in lcr's but why do people say use 8 when its about 300ish bhp???? i know ko4's (max produce about 286ish bhp) but what is the harm?? =)

Stndard on 180, 210 and 225 bhp engines is NGK PFR6Q i.e. heat range 6.

Using a grade 7 plug is a good idea as running a plug which is too hot can cause detonation, which is not good for an engine.

Using a plug which is too cool is a safe bet, but the plug may soot up as the deposits can't burn off it.
