to be fair, any dealer or seller with stock bought at the old price should really be selling at the old price.
we have a few and its tempting to double our proifit overnight but we wont be . . . . . . . . . . .

Good job I have one in the packet still up the loft! I could make some money here <rubs hands>!!

Jimski

I remember the mk2 ibiza splitters going the same way back in the day, jumped from about £17 to £38ish!!

I think it was due to them selling more as people were fitting them to saxo's, mondeo's, laguna's you name it, price did drop back down again to a sensible level when they became less popular ??

christ alive.... my local was doing them at 27 a few weeks ago but didnt have one it at the time
but the demand if any thing has gone up on them, the lcr splitter is the new megan splitter, every one with a modded nova, corsa, spaxo had one, god even i had one on my focus, now its all about the lcr splitter, the more ppl want them the more they will charge for it, that how ebay had been getting away with it, ppl thought it was cheaper than main dealer, i know, i nearly fell for it...

Well thats me just reserved the last stock from my local dealer, after a bit of haggling managed to get it for £22+VAT (parts department was not happy to let their last one go for this price but I'd been speaking with the manager who was very helpful and supportive).

Now I've got a dilemma, put on my car or sell it for £39.99 JK

Afraid I got the last one, at old stock prices though, wanted me to pay £34+VAT but I'd previously spoken to the manager who'd agreed that they should sell remaining stock at the price they were intended to be sold for

£25 fitted at AmD couple of weeks ago but guess must have gone up aswell now down there.

That's lame though. Going to be careful not to scratch mine up now!

had one on my corsa lol

Try TPS trade parts specialists. £23.

They supply the stealers

Erm no they most certainly do NOT
Dealers buy their parts from SEAT UK
TPS is there to combine Skoda, VW, Audi and SEAT parts under one roof to supply the trade at special trade prices - prices which any dealer (like us) could match if they wanted to. All VWG parts come from the same warehouse at Dordon.
By the way, the correct word is DEALER, not dealer
Oh and when TPS run out of their splitters purchased before 24th Jan, believe me the price will double . . . . . . .

:( wonder if I can get mine mended then after it snapped in half! lol - just goes to show that all those billy boys out there are buying them up for their cars! No wonder the price is goin up ehh!
