Lcr V Lc Suspension

Is there any difference between the LCR suspension and the 180 brake 04 suspension. I have just fitted the lower strut brace from an Audi TT and was wondering what my next step could be? Maybe the Audi S3 upper brace or LCR struts and springs?

As far as I am away there are differences. The LCR suspension is better so an upgrade is in order. I am having Koni FSD's and Eibach springs fitted soon and they will give you superior handling compared to a standard LCR. Yes get the upper strut, you will notice sharper turn in.

Only thing the LC hasnt got is ESP.

It would be easier to source Eibachs for instance rather than the Cupra R's.

LCR is TT based front end , LC is golf MK4 - wont work

better of as said with a proper aftermarket kit , FKs are good

ARB mounts on the strut for the LCR, ARB mounts on the wishbone on the LC

among other slight differences

Asked a local VAG breaker he said the struts are the same, but the spring settings might be different, drive shafts and hubs are also different
