leather saloon seta into st

i have bought some 2013 saloon leather seats for my 2010 st,the scrapyard i bought them from told me they were interchangeable but when i tried to fit the rear seats today the locking mechanism is higher than the the one on mine.
Any suggestions please the seats are very nice shame they dont fit.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but I think someone else will be along to clarify.

I believe the facelift model of the Exeo ST has different rear seats to allow for a bit better legroom in the back.

I'm guessing that you might be able to get the locking hoops and trim pieces from the facelift and put them on yours so that you can have the newer seats? (This is just hypothetical though, hopefully someone will be able to confirm this for you) but it is what I'd try.

leg room

i know the estate as more leg room on facelift but didn't think the saloon did,i cant see how the would get more from a salon easy on estate

I went to my mechanic today and he has looked at the seats,and he thinks the brackets on which the seats go into at the base of the seat will have changed including the middle one.
Iam going to order them are they expensive?.
Has anybody ever fitted facelift model seats t othe pre facelift.
