Time has come to move on. I am doing hell of alot more miles now and just find the cupra uncomfortable on the long journey. I have loved my time with the car etc. I was hoping to stay within seat by getting a new leon fr tdi but the interior just wasnt cutting it when compared to many rivals.
I test drove the bmw 1 series, great machine but you dont get much for your money. Then was onto a volvo c5. Great looking car and excellent build but I had doubts. I then drove past a honda garage and thought why not. I have never really looked at the new civic but i was very impressed with the interior and the overall quality when compared to the leon. I also like the space age look. The diesel engine is amazing. It may not be as powerful as the leon fr but it is way more refined and smoother. So this weekend I will be going around the honda dealerships and sorting out a deal on a 57 civic type s gt cdti. You get all the toys you want ( auto wipers lights, cruise, bluetooth and sat nav) for around 18K.,,,which is a fair bit cheaper than the leon.
I have loved my time with my ibiza and leon..so thanks for all your help over the last year. I will probs pop in from time to time as I look forward to seeing the new ibiza.
