LED indicators

Hi,

Just had a set of LED replacement bulbs delivered for my rear indicators, fitted one to test them without any problem, put the hazards on, and the LED bulb works perfectly for about 5-10 seconds then just... stops.

If you turn the hazards off and on again the same thing happens...

Anyone got any ideas whats goin on?!

there wAS a previous post some time ago , the person had the same issue. sorry cant r.emember the outcome.

All VAG cars use a load sensing system to detect bulb failure. LED bulbs dont place enough load on the system so they dont work properly. I think you'll need to put a resistor inline on them or something similar to produce the same load as a conventional bulb.
