That's what i don't know. Been reading a bit on these forums, that P-Torque are 60 miles away and got good reviews. But also just read about ***** today, so i dont know. Have you seen any group buy deals anywhere? Where did you get yours done? Need go for a spin!

Need to save up a little bit of funds before i go for a remap, but I want one sooner rather than later. I should put safety first and do my brakes, but tempted to do remap. Also need to tax the car at end of the month. Bills all adding up.

How much for the labour on rear brakes JDUB?

Pm me and we work something out bud :) For remap personally for my car id go for R T E C H in Hinckley or Badger5 in Gloucester. Had dealings with them both and i rate both.:) My car was mapped by previous owner by PSI i think, but yea deffo take you out in mine once back on the road. ;)

RTE sounds good as it is close by. good reviews on MKIV forum.

Is anyone selling a Forge 007?

Remember R TEC saying they spent around 8 hours mapping a black MK4 and still needed tweeking to get spot on so they are happy with it.. They are a sound bunch, they mapped my old A4, was spot on but then the clutch started slipping:lol: No fault of theres but the car did 130k'ish. Did look badass though![B)]

NOT MINE, FOUND THIS ON EDITION38 -

I have 4 of these available

2 of them have the "awesome" logo etched into the sides
1 of them is plain
1 of them is the 006, the older brother of the 007p(bigger) but still a piston type like the 007p

Theyre genuine Forge items that have been meticulously cleaned, then soft blasted with glass beads and then anodised . I have put new seals in and greased them up properly with the correct grease. Tested on my car for leaks and they hold pressure perfectly.

Im offering these for £76.50 including special delivery within the UK, guaranteed next day

My phone number is 07943239335

Based in East Lancashire

Many thanks

that does look nice. the A4 avants do stand out. RTEC have some good reviews so will definately consider them when it comes to booking in the car.

How much are the 007 as a brand new unit?

Not sure how much they are new but found this, not mine but maybe of interest -

These are 007p DV that have been refurbished, by completely stripping the grease and the crap, then gently blasted with glass beads to give a satin finish. Then they have been anodised in some nice pretty colour, new seals fitted and greased up with the correct complex grease. Each and every one of them is tested for leaks and operation before sending them out. If you want close up pictures of a particular one please let me know. The pictures dont do them any justice whatsoever.
Prices are £75 each
This includes Special delivery next day guaranteed Royal Mail (!!!)

The letters G and Y underneath them signifies the colour of spring available, standard being green and remapped being yellow, however people have run green springs in these on mapped cars with no issues

Thats great thanks JDUB. :)

I just had the call from Seat saying the coil packs did need changing so they put some new ones in. Not a bad result, plus the car is getting its first wash! RESULT! :D

Hopefulyl because they are new, they shouldn't fail after a remap should they?

and yes it is fairly clean, its just got the odd few marks, nothing major. Just noticed exhaust is also hanging down a little, so needs adjusting.

Ah not me. oh that means there is a duplicate of me somewhere close by.

It was in at SEAT today. Just picked it back up. Coil packs changed, will take it on a run in evening or tomorrow. Seem's okay. Anything i should notice different with the new coils?

yes i can definately tell its smoother. just need to take it on a proper run in order to check its all good. Will check it out after work if i get the chance.

Black colour is okay, but the Red is really nice. Just the fading is a little off putting. I haven't seen any other lc 180's around in leicester yet.

What are you doing to your lcr?
