you may be able to, depends how your car is set up, each one is different.

Your SPS settings wont read on lemmiwinks mate, so whatever timing your set on, lemiwinks will still see 0.00 to start with.

Jabba use lemmiwinks when they get customers wanting timing increased from FMIC or DP or something.

I found it best to leave it alone, you will hit a small number where you will see huge CF's, so small incrememnts till your seeing 2/3's in the pull.

first time i read my ecu with lemmiwinks it read the timing as it was set which was -2.25 what jabba had set it at not 0.00. now set a +2.25 with the help of water injection

so now that we all know it works when you take out the fuse,

does the SEL scaling work? is this adjusting boost in the same way an sps controller does it? or is this adjusting something entirely different?

basically as well as knocking down my timing i want to reduce boost, iirc i'm running B9 T7, and if so does anyone know what the equivelent % would lower boost to say 7

can't raise boost at all. whenever lemmiwinks reads the boost it will always read it at 100% but it will only let you reduce it from 100% not raise it no matter what the boost is set at

Karl your saying i can reduce boost but when i do its stuck until i get an sps?

if so i wont bother then, whole point would be to experiment. just gonna play with timing in which case

dunno bud,

i actually always thought it only worked with revo map, mainly cos i think revo developed it.

but there was lots of talk about it being used on other cars when it became available (supposedly it was leaked) so i think you could yes but dont hold me to that

so does that mean when jabba live map my car in july i could play with it after
not that i would of course

Custom Settings is the version of software I use (free also and more stable than lemmiwinks from which its obviously based off)

You will see how "custom" JS custom mapping is.
You can adjust some fueling parameters, ignition, idle speed, but not load (boost) upward.

load scale factor downward from 100% to adjust your effective boost yes.
maybe SPS3 it up to 9 and use lemmi/custom_settings to dial it back down again to suit logged results

lemmi and c_settings work on all codes - its ecu channel adjustments based not tuners code.

lots of info on vortex by guys who have used them to good effect

it does work on lots of maps seen it used on revo, jabba, dms and 1 unknown map

HEY thought i'd carry on this thread instead of a new one

I've downloaded Lemmiwinks but not done anything else so far, apart from log block20

I'm seeing high CF values, cars timing was changed before I got it to include aquamist which i've now disconnected

To get Lemmiwinks connected which fuse needs to be removed, number 26?
I have vagcom which works fine, using a cable off ebay from Alphabid

This is on a mk3, retard timing by 1 degree - ignition timing offset - then log 20 again
