Leon 1.4 fr 140BHP start/stop "power consumption is high"

no warning at all, not sure about start/stop because I always turn it off when get in the car. Basically I ran an errand, returned to the car 5 minutes later and it wouldn't even turn over, the info screen on the dash went crazy and that was it. RAC got us started and followed us across the road to Halfords for new battery he reckons the cells were buggered for it to not even charge properly. Diagnostics didn't show anything draining the battery. So I just put it down to bad luck and maybe too many short journeys running about looking after my elderly parents
The battery on my 1.4ACT DSG Leon FR ST 2016MY is a Banner (Made in Austria) EFB, 69Ah, 360A, DIN 680A EN/SAE/GS, part number 6R0 915 105B.
Yesterday on a 50 mile drive home the stop/start didn't start working until the last 5 miles or so (in ECO mode). Today I set it to Individual mode with all 'normal' settings except ECO for the Air Con and the start stop was working all the time.

Update:
Still an issue, the dealership identified that the battery coding had a typo in it and one digit was wrong, they have since "fixed" that - they took it on a test drive and it did work once (proven by dashcam) they took it out again the next day and didn't even attempt to use the stop/start - it comes back to me - same issue.
Now I have a lot of dashcam footage of them "working" on my car, at one point they suggested their colleague that looked at it last time didn't even try anything or test it and also their "master tech" hasn't done the stop/start course and didn't know what the readings meant.
It's now open with the finance provider (FP, (blackhorse)), looking more towards rejection at the moment as the dealership has had 3 attempts at fixing it. FP are now getting an independent to look at it to get the ball rolling for rejection.
