Leon 130 TDI not reaching optimum temperature

So, I showed my local garage this thread and they agreed to replace to OE specification thermostat for a genuine Seat thermostat and only charged me the difference (and extra 35 quid) and charged no labour to replace it...

All running nicely at 90 degrees now :)

I know :) Two sensors, two thermostats, and one cambelt / water pump later (and a bunch more advisories for next time :ROFLMAO: )

They are a really fair garage to be honest, only do what's absolutely required and price up all advisories with VAT and labour included for each line item so there are no nasty surprises.
