Leon - Alpine Stereo install

Usually red

I believe so. It might be worth checking the manual for your stereo to see what is what in the wiring loom if there's more than one red

Does anyone have links to these leads? I'm getting confused with what I need exactly. I have the alpine HU 235bt as described earlier in thread and a pf mk2 leon with steering controls. I'm really confused.

Although I had to get that FAKRA cable replaced as it fell to pieces!

What iphone cable are you referring to? The Alpine unit just has a USB front socket so you can use that with your normal iphone cable or you can stream the audio through bluetooth.

Any USB to iPhone. So will all the steering wheel controls work and is that the correct plug as can't take stereo out to check.

well I've never used my iphone with a cable so I don't know how that'll work, I just stream the audio via bluetooth. I have a 2006 Leon mk2 and they were the cables I used when installing the Alpine 235BT so if that's what you've got you should be fine.

On the steering wheel controls you can volume up/down, change source, skip tracks (not when streaming bluetooth unfortunately but that seems to be a limitation of the alpine) and scan through tracks/search radio stations.

Do you mean a fascia to go round the stereo? Or a cable to convert the Seat cables to Alpine?

The Fascia I got from Sere motors on here, cable wise this does the job of converting the alpine to Seat and also the steering controls.

The Cage should be in the box with the stereo.
