Ok cool cool, thanks lads. Think im just gonna buy the base level ones, think there about £60 for all 4 of them. Dont suppose any of you have any idea what colour primer to use for for beige colour do you?
i have took the front bumper off on my 2001 cupra the one with the black corner bump strips on but the bump strips dont not site flush now do i need to replace with new or is the a set way of put them back on the just push into some hole on bumper but mine dont anybody no what i am doing wrong
not really too sure mate, i've not taken mine off yet, but it could be that you haven't got the bump strips aligned properly and the "pins" aren't actually in the holes, meaning they stick out a bit
its prob just something simple like that mate. or one of the clips in the bumper has come out or one isn't in properly, meaning it sticks out a bit.
after seeing this im removing them or will start tommorow

but as i see in the picture of the front bumper with no bump stripes on how do u take the bumper off a a later date if need bee tht what putng me off
well its not just those bolts holding the bumper on so i will take them out and potential put filler or something there. may leave bolts to start...
Lifted it all back no where near as easy as first thought!
The bumper behind the stripes has a plastic moulding that would need sanding cutting out and then would leave a large area to filler!
decided that im not undergoing that until i have a larger budget.
So i got a local paint shop to mix up the colour code. sanded the stripes down and Sprayed them.
Il post the picks later in the week as ive only done the bumpers and not the doors yet!
