There were rumours about this a while back - including some photochops.

They seem to be branching into new markets (freetrack), I wouldn't be surprised. Would be quite cool. :)

I can only find pics of the old Leon Cabrio - did they ever actually sell it anywhere?

:D Hi guys, there are pics of the leon cc floating arond i did post on a couple of threds a while ago they are mainly based on a fr, but looks fantastic:p My dealer just said its due in europe but if demand there it may come to the uk!!!!! IT bloody better a!!!!

no official comments at all.

it's yet another car that nobody wants

i think your gereralising a bit there but each to there own!

CC are excellent money makers for firms, so why shouldn't seat jump on the bandwagon?!

having done a quick google for seat leon cc, seein some of the photoshops i think it would instantly be one of the best looking cc out there!

I would even consider one!

I'm just thinking that where people can buy an EOS for 19k, the Leon CC needs to be way cheaper... but there's not enough cash to make it for that

 Yea think i would to!!! Also have herd that the tango may finally appear maybe towards the end of 2008 based on the next gen ibiza, so could be worth a watch to!

I don't think SEAT/VW Group are making enough cash to fund all these new cars

Tango/CC/Toledo replacement

VAG want to raise the profile in Seat and have given them extra funds for investment. Also it has been reported that the Audi A1 (they say it wont be called this) will be using the next gens ibiza chassis.

Seat sale figures in the UK are growing, and usually if something is doing well in the UK it will do well in most other countries! VAG just want to push the brand image a little more as a sporting manufacturer!

Is it me or do they all look like existing cars? (maybe that is the idea & I'm missing the point?

The first red one looks like an A4
The blue one looks like an MG
The dark red one looks like a TT
The second red one looks like a Tigra
The last yellow one looks lie a cross between a Megane / EOS

If they do bring it to the UK & it looks similar to the MG or TT I will be very tempted to buy one.
