Hi guys, recently bought my self a Leon Cupra 1.8 20VT - What should be the standard boost pressure in bar? I get 0.8bar briefly and 0.6bar held through the revs. Ive just had a 210bhp - 225bhp remap and the boost doesn't seem to have altered - any ideas on what I should be boosting at around 210bhp?

Thanks.

19 psi max (1.3 bar) is 210 on a stock auq, well mine at the time

Peaks at 1.3 drops to about .85

So had it back in today and they loaded another map on to my ECU, reaching the desired 1.2bar over boost and holding 1bar. But it had a misfire and was farting about, he had to re-load my standard map and give me my money back..... Any ideas? Runs spot on hitting 0.8 and hold 0.6? Confused.com?

Ok so back on standard map and its now started misfiring under load. Orange engine light flashes for a few seconds then goes off. Any ideas? It's looking like the re-map uncovered a problem that was ready for showing its face.....

Possibly coilpacks but as said above, a scan will give a better idea. There's nothing more costly than throwing parts at a car when you don't know what's wrong.

Thanks guys, bought a Bosch coil pack for cylinder no. 1 as it looked old and wasn't a Bosch one. Not misfire free. Plugged it in to diag and hey presto code stored for misfire in no. 1. Good guess I suppose. Loading the map back on tomorrow's so will let you know how it goes.
