3rd party for a car that value is stupid! The price isn't 'that' different anyway.

F.ex - My MG ZR 105 is covered 3rd party and costs me £68/month.

My Leon FR TFSI (which I pick up on Friday) is costing me £80/month fully comprehensive.

For the sake of £12 a month to be fully covered, with a courtesy car, windscreen cover & legal expenses, it's a no brainer.

Edit - That's for a 28 yr old male with 3 points.

Ye I agree with you till a point
I would like to do it fully insured, don't have a problem with that but here it's like twice expensive and I doubt that they'll insure me full on a Cupra R here where I live
They are rips offs here and they took more than a month to fix my car when paying for full insurance. It's a joke here, I know what I'm saying cause I've experienced it.

Also want to add that in your situation it would be silly not doing fully comprehensive for 12 GBP but here we're talkin about 600+ euros difference
Would rather spend them for mods or/and fuel

You have to look at the bigger picture mate, at the end of the day what is insurance for?

It's to cover any costs that might occur should you have an accident.

What'd happen if you smashed up your 20k car with 3rd party cover? You'd be in a seriously bad situation (unless you got money to throw away, which when you're considering 3rd party insurance instead of paying the price for comprehensive i'd assume you haven't).

I would either get a cheaper car or find somebody who is willing to insure you fully comprehensive for a reasonable price. if you can't afford the insurance, you can't really afford the car.

edit - 600 euros PER MONTH extra? you sure that's right? if it is then you shouldn't even be considering this car.

Guess imma have to make a couple of calls to check different qoutes
& no those 600 euros extra are per year not per month sorry
Thanks for your advice and opinion

Jeez dude - each to their own and all that, but are you seriously saying you would sooner drive a £20k car third party then spend the £600 saved on insurnace by doing something like remapping it?! Thats insane!

Heaven forbid, but if you ran up the arse of someone and it was your fault, and your car was totalled, your £600 remap is going to be worth nothing.

Sorry if my reply sounded insulting in any way shape or form, it wasn't meant to be, I just wanted to get my point across.
