Picked it up today - told the dealer I was in no rush, but ended up being 'very keen' to pick it up.

110 mile drive home and very pleased with it so far.

It'll stay standard, with the exception of perhaps some winter wheels and maybe some minor tweaks it there are some more convenient mods (eg gas struts for the bonnet)?

They have made the R ST look great haven't they!
As amazing as it looks new, I couldn't handle cleaning it! That kind of paintwork deserves ceramic coatings to preserve that look!

My desire red car is swirled/scratched after 'careful' washes but it's annoyed me so much that I haven't washed the car in 2 months!

Next new car I get will go into a detailers for the full protection!

I've considered ceramic coatings before but never actually had it done - this time I think I'm going to get it dine. I've found a local detailer and am going to see what it costs

Car looks good, I got mine put in right away for a ceramic coating. Got mine done from a guy in hillington, Glasgow. 3 year protection and it cost me 800. There was afew cheaper options but arnold Clark made a mess of polishing mine and the guy had his work cut out getting rid of some of the marks and done an amazing job. Would recommend him if you were anywhere near Glasgow.

Thanks for the info and recommendation, but unfortunately I'm a long way from Glasgow (south coast) - I've been in contact with a local guy and he's quoted £425 but that is dependent on 'condition'. I'm assuming additional cost because I'm guessing the dealer may have made a mess of mine too and also I've a long journey before I could get booked in

This guy is your man. He'll do 18 month protection for £350. This guys is a pure perfectionist. He keeps your car inside for two days as it cures. It's so worth it.

Stunning car. Ceramic Coatings are amazing. I can recommend Carbon Collective stuff if you fancy giving it a go yourself. Really easy to use too.
