Hi all, picking my cupra st up tomorrow... Any advice for what to get coded asap as I'm sure there are a few things to do straight away?

Are there any cheaper mods visual and performance you would suggest that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm looking to retro fit adaptive cruise control and the reversing camera.

Final part any advice for things I should look at when picking the car up before I sign away my life?

Auto folding mirrors, so they fold on lock rather than wasting the keys battery holding it down for an age (2-3 seconds lol).

As for checking the car, not a huge amount to check other than the usual:

Dents and kerbing

Oil level and colour.

Water level (Only big things on these is the dreaded waterpump/thermostat leaking)

Tyre wear.

Not really an issue on the newer cars (you're getting a Carbon I assume) but double check the carbon fibre cloth edging on the bolsters on the door sides of the seats for any cracking.
