Leon FR 2.0TFSI 2009 Lowering Springs Advice...

Hey guys,

I have recently had my Leon and I am really pleased with it going from the Type R to one of these has made me think of my old MK4 Golf in a good way.

Simple question... wanting to lower it so going for Lowering Springs (done Coils before not wanting that again).

I am keen on getting makes I know I don't know H&R in the respect I have not had them but I do know Eibach from the many things I have had with them over the years.

Eibach Sport Line -
Eibach Pro Kit -
H&R -

I am going to be going for some 19X8.5 Alloys in the future so I will not want any rubbing.

What do you suggest and any links or pictures would be great letting me know what springs they are sitting on.


Can anyone suggest a list of websites you look at for mods for this car too, I know all the Japanese ones but nothing for this.

im quite suprised nobody has been quite up front with you and told you to use the Search at the top

Ive had both H&R and Eibach Sportlines, i would go for the H&R again

I'm on Sportlines (I think), but I only have stock 17" wheels, so I can't comment on rubbing. It improved both the looks and handling, and if you're thinking of lowering then IMO they're a good option. Haven't done many speed bumps, but not had any trouble yet...

There's a load of places that support this forum, check the sponsored links area. I had mine done at JKM, and if Portsmouth is reasonably local to you then I would certainly suggest you get a price from them.

Very good price they are nearly £200 new.

Well, here is the beef. The seller has contacted me saying that he sold them last night and couldn't put on eBay that they had sold. To be honest I find it's hard to believe and I suspect that he is a member on here. Because of this and due to winning the item fairly (anyone can cancel an eBay item with more than 12 hours notice) I've had to take this up with eBay. I don't think I should discuss it on here anymore unfortunately until eBay resolve.

Ebay will do fook all, they are useless. It's happened to me before and they ended up giving me a refund ( I made instant payment) and they banned the users account. Big whoppy do. I noticed the same item had been relisted a few days later... on a new account

Reminds me of a corsa i saw one, back end was almost scraping on the floor and front end was sticking up in the air
