Leon Fr door card lights

I have a 2 day old Leon FR SC and was lead to believe that the door cards have lighting in them that changes colour as you change the drive mode setting. Mine doesnt seem to have them and i cant see any mention of them in the lastest brochure, so have they been removed in the lastest Leons?

Also, mine doesnt have a cover/door on the cubby hole beneath the CC controls, again has this been removed in the latest cars? Althogh im quite glad about this, as it looks better than the bland looking cover/door

I'm guessing you've checked the door card lighting in the dark with the headlights turned on?

The door card with lighting has a groove up the card and the light is emitted from here but can only been seen when it's dark and lights switched on as far as I'm aware.

The cubby hole flap was removed as they kept breaking. Mines OK though and I prefer it with it.

Foolishly i hadnt checked it in the dark and with the lights on, i just presumed they would be on all the time. And ive just been to check, and they are there just as you suggest. Thanks

It is now part of a storage pack.

I wanted the flap as I have got an FR badge to stick on it. When I ordered mine at the end of may the option to order the storage pack did not exist, if it had I would have ordered it.

I wasnt told about the storage pack at the dealership, although im not too concerned as i think i looks better without the flap.

how bright are your door card lights ? mine seem to quite dim they are brighter at the edges of the door but in the middle fades really badly and i have seen a few pictures of where they look to be very bright

i have them on 100% in the settings and its night when i am looking lol

WHAT... they removed the cover yet every picture shows it!!! Not happy about that.

I had a look at this and it seems they have also modified the tray of the cubby hole with non slip rubber which is removable and has lugs which located in holes in the tray. My guess is that it is a new part

Thanks Dephead2004, well some practicality to it then, will still look in to retro fitting the cover though.
