Leon FR MK2 seats in a MK4?

Hi guys, i've seen a set of Leon FR MK2 seats for sale, would these fit in a MK4 Ibiza?

I'm guessing the front ones shouldn't be too much of a problem but what about the rear seats?

Seen 'em floating around in eBay back in the day when I was looking for seats. I don't believe they'll fit.

from what I understand you can make any seats fit in any car, you just need to make new subframes

are you asking whether they'd bolt straight in ?

i know thats the case with front seats, i'm just wondering if the back seats would be a straight or easy fit (e.g mk5 back seats are a straight fit on a mk4)

No the rears won't fit
bare in mind leon is five door so getting people in and out the back will be an arse lol

Heh i thought as much, worth asking though just in case as i know some leon parts fit the ibiza (e.g fogs, gear knobs etc)

As for the 5 door thing that wouldn't be a problem as mine is

Thing is, the Mk2 Leon is a pretty big car. Maybe be seats would be too wide to fit into the Ibiza?

When he said that i think me meant the front seats can be changed pretty much for anything which is true. Back seats aren't universal so i thought i'd ask

But yeah come to think about it im gunna guess that it is a wider car

Gutted, i'd buy the set if it didnt inlcude the back seats so i'd be paying for something i didn't need. I'll have to keep my eye out for facelift FR seats

No, I meant even the front seats might be too wide as well. I mean, my Mk5 Cupra ones just fit in.
Remember, Fabia (VRS, mmm!) and Polo ones should fit too.

I'd imagine they're pretty hard to come by. Again, I don't think the Mk4 Formula Sport ones are too dissimilar. But pretty rare, too... Have a look on eBay for some written off MkIV Cupras or something.

Gah. Well, that just confuses things. I remember when I was looking for some transplantable seats, I think people talked me out of the Leon seats. May be wrong now, I don't know.

Yeah i've had a look matey, nothing too much though. Only really leon seats, gutted. I'll have to keep my eye out on here and fleabay. I really like the facelift FR seats, they're gorgeous and very black which matches the interior nicely

i can imagine front is the same, i'm guessing the back is completely out though from a golf/leon

What seats are they?
Nah changing seats is proper easy just a few bolts unplug Airbag and seat belt thing if yours has them and reconnect to new seats and bolt back in
