Hello!

I have been interested in new Leon FR for a while.

I have tried the default version of the seats in FR packet and I havent found them to be the most comfortable, and I was wondering does Seat offer different kind of seats as an option?

I am not talking about trim itself (aka leather, alcantara...) but the shape/layout of the seats themselves. One thing I was missing was the ability to raise the front of the seat upwards, like you can do it on audi s-line seats.

Thanks!

I believe they are all the same. Only difference comes with the CUPRA if i am not mistaken. I actually thought the seats were pretty comfy in the FR i test drove.

Last year I did a 5 hour drive to Cornwall, and hand on heart not one part of me ached. In all other cars I have driven over the years something usually starts aching after a while.

Was about to say the same. I ached for a bit but now its super comfy even on the long drives.

Same here, I think they're brilliant if I'm honest, even more so with the lumbar adjustment.

The seats in the Cupra are actually identical in terms of shape, only the materials used which are different in places.

Thanks for the replies. I am a bigger guy (6'4") so maybe this makes a difference or maybe I just havent spent enough time in them. Still, electrically adjustable seats usually offer better adjustment than manual according to my experience. Too bad there is no such option available.

I am only 6ft but I have a long back and I find that the lumbar support is is the wrong place ie too low down and on my it is at the height of my pelvis and not my lumbar spine. I am using a temporary mould at the moment but soon I am thinking of having my seat stripped down and either extra foam moulding being added or an inflatable bladder to be positioned 3cm above the original position of the lumbar adjustment. The last time I had as much back ache as this was when I had an Audi A4 SE which had no lumbar support at all and I had a bladder fitted for £80.

If anyone knows of alternative seats that would fit, this would help because I love my car but hate the back pain.

We have two Corsa's an SXI 03 plate and an 11 plate SRI, neither of which have lumbar adjustment but both of which have a better lumbar form shaped seat and I get no back pain with either car.

I find the lumbar support in an awkward place as well, and the seats okish for long drives, but anything more than 2 hours or so needs a good bit of shuffling round. Shouldn't be a problem soon though, ordered a new c-class amg this morning [B)]
