Leon Hybrid 12v issues

Hi, I have the 272 Cupra Leon Estate and after just 2 weeks have had a total failure due to the 12V battery.

After much arguing with Cupra Assist they took it to the dealership who advise me that they currently have 3 (yes three) Leons in with the same issue.
Cupra Assist (AA) diagnosed dead battery cells however the dealership initially said the battery was fine as it appeared to be a known issue (they have a TPI??).

However, after applying the TPI the issue is still there, the battery has now been replaced but has made no difference. Cupra UK have advised the dealership to postpone all futher work until a fix is identified. My car remains unfixed at the dealership.

I am aware others have similar issues and would be grateful to see if anyone has had this fixed.

Does this sound familiar to anyone - having had Seat Leons previously which worked without fault I am more than a little disappointed in a car failing with just 604 miles on the clock. Warning lights

Insane. The complexity of both the software and the electrical systems on these things, mean that no regular mechanic has any chance of working out what is wrong with it. You need software and electrical engineers just to diagnose it, let alone repair it. We've reached a point where a single line of code or a 25p capacitor can render a £60k car undriveable, and we've gone 10 steps backwards in terms of reliability.

It's not just VAG group either, my mate has had a load of problems with his brand new BMW PHEV too. Broke down on the motorway after just over 1,000 miles. BMW told him it would be a month before anyone can even look at it.

I'd tell them to take the thing back and give me a full refund + compensation. Not fit for purpose.
