I'm anxious to know, but can't be bothered to go outside in the rain to my car to get the exact list of them (will do when the sun comes out, which is a 0% chance until the morning! ha ha)

What do all the menu settings do? It doesn't go into great detail on all of them in the handbook. For example setting the coming home function (adding 10 secs at a time) is self explanatory, but there are comfort or convenience settings (driver / all / off) and mirrors (individual / all) and there's a setting for ATA, but i've no idea what they all do. Does anyone have a complete list with meanings?

I'd be interested to know what these do too, I have even tried adjusting certain things and cant tell what they have done in some cases (esp the convienince menu)

Are we talking with the standard or large MFD??

I know they are different - and from some of the options youve mentioned i think they are different for the model years too because i dont have a comfort one!!

I have the large MFD with the bluetooth kit and mine has comfort as an option on the menu

Same here. I have large MFD with bluetooth too.
Some are self-explanitary but others aren't so well detailed in the manual.
Any help would be appreciated.

Okay... here are the ones I dont understand:
(In the setup/convenience menu)

- ATA Confirm (On / Off)
- Conv. Mode (Off / All / Driver)
- Mirror Adjust (Both / Individual)

Anyone know wtf ATA is???

Can you set headlight coming home time and stuff on it too?? - or is that only available with the convenience pack?

Yeah, you can set the time the lights stay on etc, most of the stuff is VERY self explanitory but the ones above have me a tad bewildered?!

I'm guessing ATA might be Audible something Alert? Like when you reach max speed, or seat belt not on, or the little snow icon etc? But i don't know and also would like this answered.

Mirror adjust, i can't imagine what this is. Not to do with them retracting, or heated? I'm baffled.

There must be someone who knows???

- Mirror Adjust (Both / Individual)

Isnt that to do with when you adjust the driver side mirror the passenger one moves as well (it assumes where you want it based on the driver side one) ... so i would assume this would cancel that.

Or..

Do the mirrors adjust to a different angle (to see the curb) when you select reverse.

Are you guessing or do you know? (not being funny with you... just a Q)

I know that i dont have the mirror option on my 06 Sport with Large MFD. And when you adjust the drivers mirror it does move the passenger one which is a complete pain in the ass to me lol

So i would say 95% that its how the mirrors move.

Right here goes....

- ATA Confirm (On / Off) = Not got a clue but i will have a play in the morning, i hope it will turn the beeping off when i have'nt put my seat belt on.

- Conv. Mode (Off / All / Driver) = This is for how many doors open when you press the alarm (i think).

- Mirror Adjust (Both / Individual) = As above this is to adjust the drivers mirror on its own or both is when you adjust the drivers mirror the passanger mirror moves as well.

I had a bit of a fiddle last night and i switched the "Conv Mode" off which stopped me from holding down the lock button on the key to fold the mirrors... whether it was on "All" or "Driver" the mirrors folded though so not sure what the difference between those two are.

ATA doesnt seem to have any effect on the seatbelt warning or speed limit warning accoustic warning.

Mirror thingie is definately as above!

thanks chaps and chappeses! I think there was one more, comfort or something, i will check when the snow has cleared

Cheers dude, think we've cracked it.

Also just to clarify, you can set the lights to stay on after you've got out the car (coming home function) but they don't come on again when you unlock the car (unlike my mate's new golf)
