Leon Mk 1 with Mk 2 Badge

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of debadging the 'Seat' and 'Leon' from the back of my car and keeping the TDi 130 but I'm thinking of putting the spread out 'Leon' badge off the mk2 just below the 'Seat' badge/boot handle.

Anychance you can post pics so I can see what it would look like?

I used to have this on my LCR before I debadged:

I used to have the mk2 leon rear badge on my leon, look much better, then I decided to debadge it

Yes I think it looks better too, I've just ordered mine from Ebay but I think I should have gone to Seat after seeing your thread brad £4?? Just paid £8 for mine and £4 postage! To top it all off, I didn't realise til after I bought the item the seller is away until the 27th August!!

Oh well it will be a nice suprise in the post!

Any idea's where you can get them 'TDi' badges cheap?

Debadging Advice

Hello Again,

Just after some advice on debadging the 'Seat' & 'Leon' as my new mk2 Leon badge has arrived early!

Will it take off the paintwork when debadging?

Any tips would be great on what to use to get them off or any tools etc.

I used dental floss to ease them off and WD40 to loosen the glue and rub off with a microfibre.
