Don't they come already with these fitted? Mine did!

For what model Leon? I have the FR and mine already has on the clear side repeaters

yes and they are the same as stock, i have crystal clear, black with leds

i have the clear side repeaters, its a leon FR but they have got like an orange shroud thing that bulb sits in making them look kind of lexus light style if you know what i meen

mine had the orange insert in my leon to but i changed them for those type clear indicators same used on my mk4 ibiza you might want to buy some chrome indicator bulbs to finish it off or u might see the orange bulb behind the clear insert

Sorry for the hijack...but I have a question. Are the bulbs just orange or is there some orange plastic in there? I can't stand orange, and always rid my cars of any! Would a set of chrome covered bulbs sort this out for me?

And while I'm on the subject, what about the fronts?

u can get chrome ones off ebay, u can get chrome coloured bulbs that flash amber for side, front and rear

ye, but surely our back lights have an orange filter in them anyway, so you wouldn't be able to tell even if you did change the back bulbs . . and there would always be orange visible. . . ??

not if there is no orange bit inside there wont be any yellow showing... i would take a pic of mine but its dark to show you

So is it just an orange bulb then and not some sort of orange lens within the repeater/headlamp unit?

I didn't mention the rear lights as I assumed that would not be possible, because, as someone has said, there is an orange lens within the lights. Unless that can be removed...?

rael, within the standard side lights there is a orange lens inside but if u brought the chrome ones there wouldt be but then if u buy the chrome indicator bulbs to then there will be no orange at all in them, plus so easy to fit its untrue

Wots all this changing the side repeaters about.Mine ar clear and you can't see orange untill they light up which by the way is a legal requirement.No problem there then.

lestinge, yes they will, after all i did own a mk2 leon and i did do this mod to it. i took them off my mk4 beeza and put them on the leon and then when i sold that i removed them and now there on my mk4 golf so yes they do fit perfectly

fast al, im pritty sure there wasnt any fully chrome ones that came out the factory? if you look through the clear lens and see the dome bit in the middle there would normally be orange around the this edge sideways? if not well lucky you lol

Ye thats wot mines like,original I'm sure.I mean you can't see the orange very well.Not enough to bother about anyway.
