Leon ST Roof Bars

Hey all

I’m after some roof bars for my 2016 Leon FR ST

I came across these Turtle roof bars, has anyone used them or would you recommend any alternatives please?

I went for the Thule Wingbar Edge, because of the lower sound/whistle they apparently make compared to others. But your Turtle look fine too

Can't make up my mind if to go black or silver? On my GTI golf I went black but thinking silver may actually look better with the silver roof rails/wheels etc on the Leon ST. My Thule bike rack is silver also.

We have a set of Farad roof bars and they work fine. They do not whistle at all. I'd be surprised if any modern bars do.

Worth noting that I don't leave them on the car. I use them for bikes and there are three bike racks on the bars. Once bolted up the whole assembly is solid enough that you can lift the bars and racks off the car and store it in the shed when not in use. It literally takes minutes to fit. You just sit the bars onto the roof rails and tighten up the four clamps.

I have the normal wing bars in silver on a black ST but my bike racks are silver / black. I can't say it really makes a difference what colour the bars are as they get caked in insects and bird crap in no time
