Leon Thread - New exhaust and splitter pictures

Finally found my camera cable to transfer the pictures, they were taken last weekend after only a wash so not the best they can be

its an 05 plate fr tdi with 37k on the clock, had it just under a month and still on the same tank of fuel and i love it













just a few to get started

as for mods, so far it has a jvc dvd headunit installed, and uprated bulbs but not HID's

got some paint to get calipers black, and looking at a stubby arial for it as well

Leon FR TDI, updated pictures with small mods

had my fr tdi just over 4 months now, got round to making some cosmetic changes which are the first of only a few. yet to paint my calipers and get so aero wipers fitted to the car, but today fitted my c2 aerial and fabia rear wiper.

car also got washed and the first polish of the year, although it was a fairly quick polish but came up nice and shiny afterwards. anyway the pictures are below -

didn't even think about that lol, job for another weekend i think not sure if that will be one that will be done the week after i get back from vegas when i have the time to give it another good do. will sort out some scn stickers for it i think to when i do

cleaning wise it got a wash with turtlewax nanotech wash/wax which is not bad, then polished with autoglym but was only a quick polish as i had to get going so only spent an hour doing it

aerial i got is a citreon c2 one off ebay, got no radio now but only listen to my dvd in the car anyway lol

i thought about it, but i knew in my head it would bug me so i replaced it. i refused to pay 15quid for a type r/s2000 one which i know you don't loose the signal on

also got calipers to paint black as well, again a job for when i return from holiday when the car will not move

ya i painted my calipers last weekend. dead easy! i cleaned all the crap off my alloys while i was at it!!

if you use the radio then do it as chances are you will need it

it won't affect the aerial to begin with...once it begins to rust you'll lose signal quality. had this happen when the top bit broke off of my mk3 after my sister took it to those cheap car washes

i pulled off the rubber peice off the top of it cut it an put the ubber peice back on it!!! same as normal only shorter!!!

Need to invest in a smaller ariel,waitin to hear back on a vw one i got my eye on. looking good considering you only spent an hour on it, i did a 5 hour stint on mine friday by hand and still aching now, ill post some pics after round two before springfest next weekend

oh...in that case you shouldn't have any problems the way you mentioned it before sounded like you just trimmed the whole thing down

i need to get myself some clay to go over it with and some wax i think, plus using old clothes is not the best idea so some proper polishing cloths i think are in order

I ordered from elite car care and got,

. Megs gold class shampoo
. EZ acrylic glaze
. Collinite wax kit
. Megs lambs wool mit
. Drying towels

need to order some clay and quick detailer, got some goods results considering was the first time ive used glaze and wax by hand

Some tints would finish it off nicely. Front 35% and rears 55%
