if you're oil is low after doing just under 10,000miles then ill say its normal, just take it in for servicing, personally i think every car should be serviced after 7000 miles to ensure maximum engine life and high mpg, if am wrong i welcome someone to prove me wrong :D

Have done between 6k and 7k so maybe you are onto something there... :)
Will defo be checking the oil more regularly from now on, especially considering the amount of milage i do in a year :p

Lol same here, I do about 2000 + or - 500 month, so I'll be servicing it alot to get best mpg out of it, i might as well give it the best and keep its life longer :)

I see your located in Cheshire, may have to keep an eye out when driving around the area.
Well the garage clearly didnt know the service interval of the car as they put down next service in 20k... hmmm its every 10k. but am going to take it for its 90k service when it turns 92k as per the schedule.
Just need to decide whether to take it to Seat dealer or find an independent locally...
