I've got the FR TDi 150 (on an 05 plate) and it's a fantastic drive, I've also owned a TDi 110 SE (On a Y plate) and it was a pretty darn good drive too.

The SE I had was well spec'd: "SE adds climate control, electric rear windows, sports suspension, front fog lamps and alarm"

The 110 had loads of pulling power, was quick and a damn sight more economical than my 150TDi (Well, I do drive it like it's nicked....)

I'd recommend the 110 tdi SE - see if you can stretch to the 130 though - both are insurance friendly. I'm sure you can tune the 110 too - any comments anyone?

I, personally, wouldn't bother with the "S" but I've come to love all the creature comforts that well spec'd cars bring :)

Ive a 1.9TDI Leon ... town driving alone you'll get at least 400miles out of a full tank and a hell of a lot more if you are doing a lot of long distance driving as I've got 550miles out of a full tank!!
Eeeek i get about 300miles out of my tank (180 bhp petrol) if im lucky, knew i should have went for the diesel, ach but i think im a petrol man to be honest. Love it though so i shouldn't complain!

As good as the vag turbo diesels are (bro has a passat tdi) I just can't bring myself to actually buy one, i like rev's and from the tdi's i've driven just don't rev enough, and i know if i bought one either i'd end up blowing the engine up trying to rev it like a petrol or get frustrated and sell it after a month,

sorry to the diesel boy's
