A few people might not due to the cold weather hahaAre we going to plan a Blackpool meet again in January? Was a good turnout last year and could be good again.

Motty Sheepskin coat maybe,,,,I'll suffer it again. Need more coats this time.
I'm hoping to get a good deal for more than just me lol they had leaflets to give out about deals but didn't get one so I've asked about everything so see what they have...@Jimbobcook did you manage to get a nice deal on a new CUPRA for when your Mk2 goes?
Nice write up by the way
The heritage cars were the same ones I saw at Silverstone last month. All looking very nice indeed. See if they want yours instead of the one they have seeing as yours has nicer wheels and less miles

Well we had a great day at Letchworth for the opening of the new CUPRA/SEAT Showroom, the forum was lucky enough to be invited to the VIP day to see what's what and to have a look at what they had to offer.

I arrived near on 11am with @Band already there with his MK3 Leon Cupra R with APR Stage 1 map, glorious car!

Met up and we had a quick look round the brand new workshop before it gets caked in oil and generic rubbish lol also why not fill all the bays with MK3 Cupra R ST ABT's haha the manager on site said they bought a batch of 10 cars in, one which they sold to a new forum member @Jenko I believe. Great looking car indeed!

After a snoop around @Jairm88 turned up in the illusive MK2 Leon Cupra with many mods, 420bhp, no rear seats and of course for good measure a Carbon fibre bonnet and boot (Sorry my pics are not that good due to massive sun issues lol a few of these pics are from @Jairm88 )

After a lengthy chat about mods and detailing we headed inside to see what they had in store for us, in the corner was some lovely tapas and various drinks, the main front had been filled with random bits and people one was a caricature doing pictures of random people, then over in one corner was 2 CUPRA TCR simulators for people to use for free, I personally didn't have a go but it didn't look easy haha
Then over to the cars they had, the heritage cars were front and centre along with the newer cars we've seen on the forum.

There was also a MK3 Leon Cupra ST ABT but people seemed to horde towards that for ages!
Outside they had many SEAT's and a few CUPRA Ateca's and MK3 Leon Cupra's

I must say as it's just a showroom for normal people the staff were very accommodating and couldn't be happier to see everyone, always talking to people and with the no sales allowed on the day it was a very nice atmosphere indeed.
Props to Karla there who set us up with the invite, hopefully we can setup a relationship between some dealerships and this forum to help us members with issues and parts etc...

Once we popped over to our own cars a few members of staff came over to have a look and took great interest in the 2 MK2's and the MK3, it was nice to see that my MK2 Cupra R only had 47k on the clock and the Heritage one had over 70k lol
All in all great day and will be in contact with the showroom to see if they can help us out on here with deals and maybe a meet location.
Hopefully more events like this for us forum members to go to!
Cheers
