Yes, I was thinking the same. I do like the look of that R32 wheel tho and I could retain the airbag, how to get an FR badge on it instead of the one fitted

i nearly died five years ago writing a type r off.. (civic) 04plate... on ice...........

air bag saved my life but broke my nose....

i no some one else who died after they totaled a m4 golf gti, they to were using a momo wheel..
only thing was, it was some one else hitting them... not there own driving that killed them.. his head hit the momo steering whell,and it was game over,airbag would of saved him.. real shame..

all i can say is you are brave or stupid,one or the other,also your insurance is invalid with out a airbag....

Yeh, sorry you lost your mate in such a way... bad way to go regardless of fault...

A broken nose isn't a bad price to pay, but that exact experiance screams volumes to keep your airbag.

I dont even see any practical side to replacing it with one of these Fast and the Furious type steering wheels.... In my opinion, it doesn't even look good... just Chav-tastic to be honest...

a - looks bad
b - inpractical
c - costly
d - can void your insurance

I dont understand why you would ever want to remove your airbag.... would be one of the last things I'd wanna take off..

this is true, but the guy who started the thread obviously just wanted to see peoples different steering wheels and not get a load of people just saying what is the point! you like the standard one this is fine everyone has there own likes and dislikes but i guess he just wanted to see steering wheels!
