Mate Jim (jimseat from this forum) asked me to detail his cupra as he is planning on coming to a few shows this year and wanted his car looking at its best.

Jim started by washing the car, then claying with megs clay followed by another wash and dry before putting in my carport ready for me to tackle the next day.

So in the morning gave it a quick wipe over with some last touch and a microfibre and took some pics of the befores to see what needed doing.

Then taped up ready to get started.

Swirls where worse than the pics look, but had probs getting them to come out in the pics.

Polished with a PC and 3 different strength polishes and pads.

After polishing, managed to get about 95% correction over the car.

WOW that looks really nice.
How much does this cost?

Off topic can you ask how he sprayed his lights red? or did he buy after market ones that came apart and sprayed them?

That's a gorgeous looking car! Looks stunning!

And well done on the detail too, top work there :)

They are the standard ones tinted. This was done at mates rates but prices are normally around £20 - £35ph depending on detailer.

Awesome!

What pads and products did you use?

I found mine tough as hell even with Menz.

Menzerna Power Gloss S 34 A on a yellow cutting pad followed by Menzerna Final Finish PO106FF on a green cutting pad, the SFX paint cleanser on a black glasing pad. P21s paint cleanser by hand then P21s wax by hand.

Paint is hard work definately!!

Looks great. The reflections are amazing.

im going to get mine done.

Got a few swirl marks that need sorting.
