Light Rain and Humidity Sensor

Hello,

I am new to the LEON and recently got a 2016 LEON FR (One of the last ones to be made without MIB, small screen with 3 Buttons on both screen size) and I’ll like to modify it to enable auto lighting and wiper when it rains. I have looked around on some post but am not sure the part number for the sensor and auto switch to get. Can anyone advise on that ? And also how to go about coding.

I am considering getting the OBDELEVEN

Hello Jay5959, Many thanks. I'll try finding the part but can anyone explain how to open the casing behind the mirror. I wouldn't like to break anything

It looks fairly simple mate, I would get some trim remove tools, don’t go using knives etc as you’ll cause damage. Look on page two of the thread theres some good pics explaining how to remove the mirror trim to access the trim. I don’t think there is much more to add though if I’m honest, the subject has been talked to death, part numbers, trim removal, coding. It’s all in there ?

Many thanks @Jay5959. I was looking through the system last night. It has the home coming function on it but I don’t think it works. Am guessing either because my switch hasn’t got AUTO or the sensor isn’t the rain and light version

Flash your high beam as you exit the car, that's how it's activated on cars without auto lights & wipers
