Limp home mode

My Leon went into limp home mode today, the EPC and traction lights came on and it wouldnt rev.
Im thinking this could be because I didnt secure the bonnet properly and it popped onto the catch down the road.... Is the car that intelligent?
Never done it before or since (on the way home)

At least I think that was limp home mode?!

I don't think the car's that intelligent mate... sure i've driven all over hampshire with my bonnet catch undone..... (not intentionally though!)

Yeah, Ill plug it in tomorrow. I did change the MAF and didnt screw it back down so that could be it!
