Evos aren't as reliable once tuned as people think either. Everyone I know of with one says they require a fair bit of TLC. Plus they are also a bit of a cereal box car.

4wd conversion on a Cupra is about 2k.

Who's performing 4wd conversions for 2k Pov?

Its gonna be less than £3.5k including vat but more than £3k

As for 420bhp with wmi....... since when has wmi added 60hp

380-390hp with wmi i reckon. 420hp that guy must be in lala land or his dyno operator needs to find a new day job.

Steve was running his k04 hybrid with wmi and was making 420hp.

I wont be doing this turbo probably just do wmi or get a 135i - map, decats and ic is over 400hp and low 12's and loads of fun with a faaaar more capable chassis and better interior...... [B)]

When i put it like that why i have still got the cupra, withdrawl symtoms coming again

You know the person in question Mr H :)

Yeah, the whole numbers game is fun although perhaps not hugely faster or more capable.

Removing the turbo isn't too hard...(with the correct tools etc)

Its the intake manifold, getting to the injectors is the hardest part! removing throttle body...then bolts then wrestling the $%££$ out...and removing the injectors (hopefully) it will be alot easier next time when I do it the job! [:@]

Yeah - several. Revo are currently fitting it to a Golf R20T and creating a file for it :)

Now that may bias my thinking on my next car! Not planning to change yet, but I was wondering about the Golf R with suitable upgrades naturally! 4wd and 400bhp (ish, maybe more) would be very tempting...

That's exactly what I have done. And while I miss my Cupra, the .:R is in a different league. The roads are greasy as fu.. at the moment and not a sign of wheel spin. I'm currently GIAC Stage 1 with the mods from my Cupra (Evoms, autotech internals, Milly D/P) transplanted, which is a huge cash saving, running 330bhp/320lbs.

Next week I get my new cat back Milly, GIAC Stage 2 engine & DSG maps, which are expected to produce 370bhp with similar torque. Devils Own WMI for Christmas from the Missus (I knew there was a reason I loved her!), which should see 390bhp-400bhp, sub 4s 0-60, something like a 12s dead 1/4 mile and most importantly...grip!
