might sound stupid but can you not skach the frunt window and then get the keys. then call the insurance comp and say someone has smashed it and only pay the excess?? about £50 and also no tint which might need to be replaced

was hoping there was some commando trick that people on this forum know without damaging the car lol

call aa. u dont need to be a member and they charge about £40 to get in through the window. they have some clever key thing which can push your unlock button on arm rest on door

I've seen the AA use a blow up air bag against the top of the door frame to force it out against the car slightly and then use a hook to pull open the handle. This was on a Ford though.

i locked my dads keys in his focus estate the aaor rac cant remember came out bypassed the alarm and took the boot off lol

i was not in the good books that day especially as we were nearly 3 hours from home and a spare set of keys

don't put the window through, you'll end up with glass everywhere and and the door will rattle with broken glass unless you take it apart. Call the AA/RAC and they'll get it for you

The RAC got in my mates mk4 golf by hooking a battery booster to some where in the engine bay from underneath, and then used a bit of wire to short a circuit to fool the car that the ignition was on, then used a piece of wire to pushed down the door seal to open the electric window.
This all happened on the uk-mkiv stand at inters 07!

My mum managed to lock the keys in my previous Seat with the engine running you can imagine how happy I was..... Anyway RAC man got in and sorted it..
