I had my Diesel FR serviced last May (2015) on the longlife service, but I have now got a service message that the inspection service is now required (11600 miles/19 days) 7 the oil change service is due in (11600 miles/384 days).
I thought that I wouldn’t have to take it in until May 2017 or 20000 miles?

Service program on new Leon sucks!!
Mine "inspection service" is due in 11days, and oil service is due 9000km/200days.
Stealer says that oil is needed to change also in inspection service, does not make any sense.
Oils have been changed 11months / 13000km ago in stealers service.
(I changed them also my self 3months /2000km ago, but did not set any service light or so)
So, this "long life" does not get you any longer that fixed service with 15000km/1 year.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the reply, looked on you tube & tried what it said (also what’s in the owners manual).
It displays a message saying that it has reset it, but it comes back on the next time you switch the ignition on.
Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance.

The instructions in the video worked for me, but only for the oil change - when it was then due for a proper service it wouldn't let me. Maybe it's that?

Rang the dealer up today, who confirmed that I was on long life servicing & said that I needed to take it in to have the message turned off
