i know have all details here , loacal place ( hint hint) can give me good deals on service , n enivitable mods , problem is fuel n insurance , even if i do the runaround idea , still is costly , 2 taxes , insurances etc , dunno

at same time , fed up with ibiza , maybe relax a while , mk3 cupras are interesting 2
You what steven!!!! If yoour getting board, i can think of a cheaper resolution for you. Get rid of that shitty turbo you have, go for a VT 2 or 5, injectors if you go for the 5, then a bit of propane. Will only cost about 3-4k tops. Then you wont get board of the ibiza. You should be seeing 260-280 bhp with that set up aswell, nearly as much as an Evo 6 as standard.

But 320 is still better;)

Just do the sums and you will quickly think! Why didnt I just buy a quicker car and still have enough money for insurance and modding money also!

Aye and the Ibiza still wont go round corners as well...plus the Ibiza is about the same weight as the Evo!!

If your looking Evo, go for the 5 - light weight version!!!

I got to that place a year ago. When I realised that a S4 was cheaper to insure (for me) than my ibiza, my mind was made up. 10 months later I'm very happy that I switched. :D

I agree! I'd be up for it. Ant where did you get yours from ;) And how much [B)]

sit to low......NO!!!!

The front wont be much lower on coilovers dude as the sump wont allow it....and there is acres of space at the rear!!

you really need to resize that image lol
i finally got my coilovers in had to take off the whole brake assembly to be able to get it down low enough to get the old shock out but its all in now had it lowered nicely first time then looked below the bumper dame seat for there low sumps
by the way i had to go to page one to reply to this thread nothing shows up in page two does this happen with anyone else
and my final question what is the distance between the ground and the top of your arch along with what hardness setting i settled for 1 1/2 turns
feels like the car is more flat goin round corners so much better
and sorryif i am goin a bit off topic

Just measured there...

23 1/4" from the ground to the top of the wheel arch at the front

23 1/2" from the ground to the top of the wheel arch at the rear.

Both sets were wound down 18 turns from the highest setting. Ill be winding the front down another 5 turns and the back will be virtually maxed out in the next week or two! (have to get the new boot build in first though!

will post up later the height cause i have know idea i done mine from near the bottom up just found out sump guard is around 230 to dear i think. and i just heard there is a cruise in in portrush so going to go and investigate

Finally got the car back!

Really good job! Want to give it a wee clean but Im not allowed to for a few days!

Want coilovers so much now! The back just isnt low enough!

Car looks quality mate, really is nice. I think any lower, and you will rip them skirts off if you go over a speed bump too fast. Leave it as it is ;)
