Hi all,

Just bought a black Leon Mk2 .

Current wheels are in poor condition. One is slightly buckled, and another one is badly scuffed.

I am now looking for new alloys but as most of the money has been spent on the
car,not much left in the pocket.

I can still manage around £300-£350 for a set though.

Got my eyes on a set of black alloy wheels which will cost me £315 inc. wheels, fitting kit, locks and delivery.
Cannot send the link but it is Carre alloy wheels model 846.

Any suggestions?

Thks,

serious ?

each to their own, but a leon deserves nice wheels, and a good 18"

You could refurb your old alloys and power coat them. Of course it depends on how bad the buckle is. But you aint gonna get a set of 18"s and tyres for £350.

Thanks for the suggestions

Even fitted with budget tyres, a 18" package costs between 500 and 700 which is way over my budget.

That's why i want to stick with 16" alloys as my current tyres are 205/50R16 and in good condition.

Buckle on the alloy is pretty bad and to be honest i do not want to drive the car like this.

Local garage quoted 200 +VAT for refurbishing of 4 alloys and straightening the buckled alloy.

How does that sound to you?
