Well seat won't code them for me. They are saying it will invalidate warranty and also because the milage is different.

UPDATE: Hi, looks like i may have found a solution to all the problems. I have just rang a company called ........ (not sure i can put it for advertising rules), and they can take the old dash unit and remove the hardware from it and install it into the other unit ive bought. This way ive got all my immobiliser codes, milage and everything.

On a side note guys its not actually illegal to change the milage on a vehicle, only to sell it on once being changed without informing the next owner:lol:

Best new price would be from Seremotors on here.

I done the upgrade, cost around £500.

You can get an old instrument cluster and adjust the milage without too much trouble, but you'd need the SKC code from the old car I believe and would need to be coded in by the dealer. Would be near impossible to find the exact part though.

Dan

Did you have a dealer do yours?

My new larger MFD cluster is in now, a company in mansfield sorted it out for me.

All programmed in,keys, mileage etc. Send me a PM for their details.

Unfortunately i'm based in london so mansfield is just a wee bit out of the way. Thanks all the same though

Yes, i have the extra features now. Some things have to be enabled via VAG-COM if they arent already, they sorted that out for me though.

I had a 2nd hand cluster and can be recoded and mileage adjusted, just make sure you have correct speedo and rev counter (i.e. Diesel or petrol)

I found mine on ebay, other than that try a scrapper. Depending how much you want them theres always the dealer but you will be looking at about £400+, i got mine for £70 :)

The clocks you buy will still need to be coded to you car though as part of the immobiliser is in the cluster, then you keys have to be recoded and mileage corrected so it shows the same as your old display.
