Looking for some help on where this should be

Hi guys, new to the fourm and to vag cars all together and i am looking for a bit of guidance, i've not long bought that car and it is off the road just now while i do a couple of bits and bobs but next to my vacuum reservoir there is some vacuum hose that plugges in to a plug next to the coils that dosent seam to to be connected to anything just runs in a circle but it also has 2 t pieces that have all the one that goes into the vacuum reservoir has also snapped and would there for be causing a vacuum leak (i think?) i would post a photo but im not sure how to lol i was wondering where they would plug back in to? If o find out how to post photos i will because that would be a whole lot easier than trying to describe this
