Model Year 24/25 Looking to purchase Formentor

Looking at private purchase but would really like some insight into what might be best for my situations. I like the idea of a decent level of fuel economy. I currently drive a Seat Arona FR Sport 1.5 Manual which does decent MPG. Some days it states 50MPG on my commute to work.

My daily commute to work is 17.5Miles there, 17.5 Miles back. 90% of this is motorway, the rest is town roads, up and downhill, traffic etc. Currently no charging facilities at work but could change in the next couple of years. This is where the majority of my driving and MPG is and what im thinking most of whilst trying to figure out which model of formentor to go for.

I am hoping to get a facelift version of the VZ2 but stuck between whether or not to get the 1.5lt 25.8Kwh PHEV or go for the 2.0Lt 328Bhp version. I know, overall, the 2.0Ltr will be less economic.

I don't currently have a driveway or home charging as an option either but again, hoping to get this within the next year or so.

So, I suppose what I am asking, based on all of the above how much of a difference will the fuel economy be for the 2.0 ltr vs 1.5ltr hybrid in this scenario of my daily commute ? How economical is the hybrid purely on petrol which most of the motorway section will be using.

310 bhp vzn. Mostly motorway 3 day work commute. M25 peak hours morning, non peak hour afternoon. Then weekends Sainsbury's etc. I don't drive like I stole it. Smooth and steady most of the time. 40/50/60 mph depending how traffic is flowing. Attached is the snap from app. Might give you an idea.

Thank you. That does help. Now I just need a comparative VZ2 Hybrid and see if its worth the cost of a driveway and charger

I have a vz2 272 plugin
Without any battery I get 46-51 mpg on a run
With battery full I get 135mpg
And some battery around 84mpg
Now it depends on how you drive but I have got a Hypervolt 7.4 charger and I have cheep electric between 12-7 at 6.4p per klw
Getting 39mpg out of a 2.0 300bhp engine is amazing
So it’s not just buying a plug in you need include the extra cost of electric and charging if that makes sense

Mainly town and dual carriage roads
On Wednesday I went to Cardiff 112 round trip and mostly motorway so 70-75 mph to give you a idea
It takes around 2+ hours to charge on the home 7.4 klw charger
