I had a DV fail, it was an AmD Viper DV on an LCR about 5 years ago. My car did go into limp. Think the N75 valve can also cause limp.
Limp mode is actuator pressure which should be about 5psi. Your dv is not sticking benny the pen test only shows if the seal is working which your isnt so you should replace with the free kit from forge. The seal would not just go so I would be surprised if this was causing your problems.
vac lines to actuator backwards are they?
so opens wastegate when it should be held shut?
limp is actuator pressure which IS 5psi typically. 0psi is not limp is broken mode.. lol
you are less than actuator pressure, which is pipe off or wastegate open so no boost can be produced
this does'nt sound right... barking up wrong tree imho
piston shuts does it? spring etc... therefore no leak then.. (of boost)

I was worried somthing may have fallen into the head when i was working on her, should that be ruled out?
Uh oh! Would imagine that may have made more of a mess than just no boost. Is anything blocking your actuator from opening/closing properly. Only way I can see 0psi is if there is a boost leak or the actuator totally open creating no pressure.
I also thought that mate, and i would of known if anything was in there. Just wanted to rule it out as a possibility.
it should snap shut... did you do this with engine off?
what does it do when the engines started and vacuum is on?
Tryed it with the engine running today bill and it does the same, Snaps shut.
I got under the car today and noticed that the TIP had started to slide off see pushed that on more and tightend it up, still no joy
Anybody think that this could be causing my problem?(see pic below) Im not all that mechanicly minded but i would havbe thought that the manni should sit flush to the block to provide a good seal? I`ve slid a small flat screw driver in the gap and it wont go up very far so im assuming it is sealed?
Wouldnt it sound really rough also if it was blowing from here?

Would have thought that should be sitting flush mate although its a little hard to see properly from the pic. What is stopping it?
