Just changed my creation Motorsport TIP with billet adapter to SFS 80mm TIP

Logged against the liquid gauge before and after with the air temp only 2degrees difference (cooler when run with Sfs)

I actually lost 4bhp!!!!

I have also removed neuspeed heatsheild as well but can't seeing that being much of a prob until the engine is really warm

I would relog with the heat shield as per cm tip. I,ve logged various tip designs and what icve learned is some give a little more up top and others midrange. The only real way of knowing is on the dyno but graphing airmass across the rpm range and graphing over several runs should give an indication.

Yeah gonna bolt the heatshield back in and see what happens.

Sounds better and supposed a better quality TIP so needs mapping now

Don't say this mate, Im gonna go for the SFS TIP to replace my CM one as well. You would think it would improve it given the better design the SFS one is

Well ill keep you updated but peak power is down and torque is the same. Going to check figment and re install heatshield tomorrow then relog it and see what's going on

Refitted and it is 2bhp down. But air temp was 5-6degrees up from last night? I'd say no change but a better product I hope

your judging this from LG only... Different days....
Whats the actual peak g/s you are seeing different.

Billet TIPs for the win... B5 remains the best, highest flowing TIP. :)

It was the same day first but last nights was with heatshield back on. Will log the g/s next time I'm out

I will be buying a v2.2 just wish I'd brought one from the start it would have saved me some £££
