Lost Socket in Engine!

Amatuer fitting strut brace to ibiza loses socket in engine!
Can any one help? Its fallen through, but cant get to it-plastic cover/tray. How do i take that off? . appreciate any help.

about 10-12 torx screws then pull to the rear about 3" it will drop down

go to your local cheapie tool shop and buy a telescopic magnet, it's like an old fashioned car aerial with a magnet on the end and normally about a quid or 2

get a torch and fish about for a bit and see if you can get it mate

i have done this twice now once is this car and once in my last so annoying havent found either lol

^ lol, i lost a screw when trying to fit the air filter! never found it....oh well

at least i didt do that.. sockets are easily replacable.. with better ones maybe they should make some glow in the dark ones?

nothing worse than dropping stuff down engines.

Minds me a need to whip a couple of the screw bolts from the smacked one near the scrappy's as my airbox is missing 2!
