Hi Lads,

Ive next to sod all windscreen washer pressure.

I replaced the standard 3 jet washers as they resembled 3 ants with prostrate problems pissing on the screen with genuine mist versions and it is still no better.

So im suspecting either a pump issue or a blocked filter.

Is there a filter in the reservoir somewhere ?

Is it a wheel arch cover removal job to get the reservoir out ?

I'd appreciate any time saving tips.

cheers

The only filter is in the filler neck of the reservoir, or that's where it should be, a strainer right in the inlet. I doubt however that debris is your issue - the filter is to stop small particles that may clog the jets. You've new jets so thats not the problem. Could be a pump issue, or a kink/leak in a hose somewhere.

As the front and rear share a pump, is the rear spray jet of water what you would consider to be "normal", if so it sounds like a pipe is crushed/bent/trapped.

Well it has to be the pump failing it literally spits out the rear washer.

You also have a filter just before the pump check that’s not clogged before getting a new one just remove the pump and clean the filter and try washers to see if that’s the problem gone
