Lower grill issue

Had a look at mine today and my mates doesn't have the 2 bits of plastic either side but his doesn't exact same cars and year, can they be removed?

Your question really isnt clear thats probably why no one replied.

If your talking bout the grills at the edge of the bumper on each side, (you have btcc bumper) then they have 3 screws holding them on, but if your mate doesnt have them then he has a different model/bumper, as if taken off there will 2 great big holes instead
