Lowering and other mods for a tdi fr...

Hey guys long time no post...

Just decided to get back into the modding game, but I'm slightly out of the loop

Anyway, in short I'm looking to drop the car approx 50-60mm but only on springs. YES I know that everyone will jump on the band wagon and tell me to go coils, but money simply will not allow this. So I have had a quick look about but most kits come out at a 30mm drop which is barely noticable. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also looking to do the following...

Performance exhaust, but whats the crack with the DPG?

Remap - who's best these days....?

The piano black interior panels etc..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hope the roads around YOUR way are flat, it would take most of the underside off down here in Wiltshire, and the front bumper lip will get written off on some of the curbs/speed bumps !!!!

go for h&r -50mm springs....
i don't know where are you from, but you can buy full miltek exhaust without dpf, and then you should go to the custom-code fore remap (about 225hp)...

The biggest drop you'll get from just springs springs will be 50mm/35mm from the Eibach Sportline kit.

what spings are them also i see u have the sideskirts on, what is the height from the ground to the bulge part of the skirt (at the front)

what about the ride now, is it better or a bit more harsh?

eibach pros ive also got 19" alloys so ride is possibly abit worse than standard
on my 18s it was possibly better
its 6 inches to the sill panel cheers chris

As for re-map i'd steer clear of Jabba they did one to my mates VRS smokes like you wouldnt belive and ate his clutch in 5mins flat.

Get Custom one set up for the car, might be bit more but well worth it.
