Hi,
I have lower my fr ST on a set of stance plus coilovers, i also fitted a set of adjustable drop links at the same time.

My issue is that the top of the drop link where it connects to the coilover rubs/ taps the inner body work (the bit that separates the arch from the engine bay)

There doest seem to be anyway of adjusting this to pull the coilover and drop link further away from the body wok to give more clearance. Also the passenger side is fine, this only affects the drives side.

Anyone experienced this issue before? Or any idea of what I can do to give it more clearance?

Thanks

Not necessarily the same issue but similar.

When I had lowering springs fitted and fixed camber plates, the passenger side made a horrible spring noise.

Turned out the spring was catching the inner arch, upon further inspection it was just the anti-corrosion coating sprayed on the inner arch. HEard a few occasions of it now, all on the passenger side.

The garage just shaved that section back and gave it a recoat with similar stuff just tidier.

So it maybe you can get away with shaving the coating back as its too thick?

Doesnt seem to be the same issue, its been rubbing that much now that its wearing the metal.

I dont know if its due to the arch been a different shape on the drivers side but it seem that there just isnt enough room for the top of the drop link . As far as I can tell there no way of adjusting anything for more clearance.

Im trying to find a more slimline drop link that doest have the bulky head but there dosent seem to but much around
